Pizza Brutta is one of the best wood-fired Neapolitan pizza places in Madison. They currently have one location in Madison, on Monroe street, which opened back in 2009. I have been going to Pizza Brutta for years and it is one of my favorite pizza places in the city. Their pies are a perfect size. At ~11 inches with a thinner crust, one pie is perfect to satisfy your appetite. If you are still hungry afterward, I highly recommend the Nutella Focaccia. Nutella on Focaccia, how can you go wrong?
My favorite pie from Pizza Brutta has to be the Margherita. So simple, yet so good. I’ll admit I have not tried most of their pizzas because I’ve been hooked on the Margherita for a long time.

Their salads are also excellent, with my favorite being the Beet Salad. I really have to go back and try more items on their menu. I have yet to be disappointed by anything I have ordered.
Pizza Brutta is also a very family friendly restaurant. They have enough seating inside that you can usually bring the family and find a spot, even on busy nights. Their staff is quite friendly and you can watch your pizza being made and cooked in the wood-fired oven right in front of you.

Here is some more information on Pizza Brutta. I highly recommend you check them out if you have never been before or are stopping by Madison for a visit!
