Pizza Brutta – Madison’s Finest Neapolitan Style Pizza

Pizza Brutta is one of the best wood-fired Neapolitan pizza places in Madison. They currently have one location in Madison, on Monroe street, which opened back in 2009. I have been going to Pizza Brutta for years and it is one of my favorite pizza places in the city. Their pies are a perfect size. At ~11 inches with a thinner crust, one pie is perfect to satisfy your appetite.

J Petal Madison – Japanese Crepes and Thai Ice Cream

As I was walking on State Street, a new place caught my eye, J-Petal. Claiming to serve Japanese Crepes and Thai Ice Cream, I decided to go in and give it a shot. I was a little overwhelmed as I looked through the menu and noticed I had never seen anything quite like the items listed. There was a sweet and savory portion to the menu, but having a sweet tooth, I decided to try one of the fruit crepes.
